Currently, Atlus is riding the highs of critical and commercial success Persona 3 Reload has enjoyed following its release a month ago, but considering how long it’s been since the release of the last main installment in the series, it’s no surprise that a large section of its fan base is waiting with anxiety the details about Person 6. When Atlus will start talking about the game in an official capacity is anyone’s best guess at this point, but a leaker has spilled some potential details about the RPG.
On ResetEra, noted leaker Head on the Block, formerly known as Im a Hero Too, has stated that while Person 6 will continue to build on the series’ formula with another high school setting, it will expand by adopting a semi-open world structure.
In another post, the leaker claimed that the game would also feature “smoother” social links, which, for those unfamiliar with person, are bonds that players form and strengthen with a variety of characters throughout the experience for both narrative and gameplay bonuses. The leaker claims it Persona 6’s Social links will be more interactive and have less timed restrictions than in previous games.
Leaks have already claimed this before Person 6 It’s currently targeting a 2025 release and that it will be a cross-platform release, as Atlus’ most recent titles have been.
